- Discover the investigations that are available in the Canadian public health system and in the private systems globally;
- Understand that step-wise, systematic use of personalized, conventional AND functional medicine approaches can be effective in restoring health i.e., there is hope.
This live event will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in length:

About the Presenters
Dr. Timothy Cook Medical Doctor, FRCPC, MPH,
LCol (Ret'd), CD
Dr. Tim Cook graduated from Queen’s University medical school in 1986 and completed a General Internal Medicine fellowship at the University of Toronto in 1995. He holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of London (UK), 2006. During a 20-year tenure in the Canadian Forces Medical Services (CFMS), he trained in occupational, environmental health and tropical medicine, and served as the personal physician to two Governors General of Canada. Dr. Cook founded and directed CFMS clinics dedicated to veterans who returned from the Gulf War with unexplained illnesses. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2003.
Since then, Dr. Cook's practice has focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and longevity medicine through the lens of integrative and functional health principles. This approach encompasses the identification and management of root causes of illness and utilizing advanced technology such as genomics and metabolomics. He has expertise in patients with complex illnesses including chronic fatigue syndrome / ME / chronic tick-borne diseases / environmental toxicity. In addition he has executive and corporate health experience through leadership roles in three executive health clinics in downtown Toronto.
Dr. Eleanor Stein
Dr. Stein is a physician and psychiatrist, an expert in helping people with ME, CFS, FM, environmental sensitivities, long COVID, and chronic pain recover their health and joy in life.
Through her own 35-year illness journey, reading thousands of scientific papers and working with thousands of patients, she has developed a unique, science-based approach to healing from chronic pain called Healing Through Neuroplasticity. This course teaches core strategies to rewire the brain for more comfort and better function.
