Living with MECFS: Whitney Dafoe Poem
Sep 01, 2019
This poem by a severely ill PWC (person with ME/CFS) was transmitted to his mother Jane Dafoe through gestures. Whitney has not been able to talk for several years. Whitney is the son of researcher Ron Davis and advocates Jane Dafoe.
Some of you will have seen his story in the movie “Unrest”. The picture was taken by Jane through the keyhole of Whitney’s room.
To learn more about the poem, watch the beginning of the ME/CFS Symposium at Stanford from Sept 7, 2019. The full symposium is posted here and on the OMF Youtube channel.
