The Impact of Dental Health on the rest of the body is significant. Everything is connected to everything -- we are all body, mind and spirit. And the complex inter-relationships between each of these elements needs to be considered when discussing our overall health. Oral health is an extremely important component.

In this presentation, Dr. Young explores the intimate relationship of the mouth and body including wellness, disease, prevention, diet, nutrition and lifestyle. He discusses the links between ME/CFS, FM, arthritis, alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, and oral health and more! Heavy metal toxicity is also be explored.

Craig Young, DDS, CMAc (Biological Dentist) graduated from the University of Alberta Dental program in 1987 and obtained his certification from the University of Alberta Medical Acupuncture Program in 1997. He has a general practice with an interest in chronic pain, TMJ issues, sleep apnea and occlusion. He is a founding member of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health (aaosh.org), an organization “dedicated to the relationship of oral health and whole body health.” Dr. Young has a practice at Orijin Integrated Dentistry in Calgary, Alberta, that is “focused on a comprehensive approach to oral health.
