- How do you manage mental health during menopause?
- What are some drug-free choices?
Did you know that hot flashes and night sweats affect 75% to 80% of women during menopause, making it hard to stay comfortable during the day or sleep through the night. Vaginal dryness, painful sex, and bladder problems are also common, affecting about 50% of women within the first three years of menopause, and these symptoms often get worse over time. Sleep difficulties impact half of all women, leaving many exhausted and frustrated. Mood changes such as irritability, low mood, or anxiety are experienced by 50% of women, and joint pain and stiffness can make everyday activities challenging.
If these symptoms sound familiar, you are not imagining it. Menopause is real, and it can affect every part of your life, but the good news is that you can take steps to feel better.Â
