You take your glasses off to read your phone, then put them back on to cross the room. The label on your pill bottle swims. Twenty minutes on a screen leaves your eyes burning. Your transition lenses stay dark long after you walk indoors on a cold day.
If you live with myalgic encephalomyelitis, chronic fatigue syndrome (ME, CFS), fibromyalgia, or long COVID, you are not imagining that your eyes seem to be part of the problem. And you do not have energy to spare on the wrong glasses, the wrong drops, or the wrong appointment.
This session gives you clear, practical answers so you can make eyewear and eye care decisions once, and make them well. Dr. Monea will talk about
- Understand the major parts of a comprehensive eye examination
- Decode myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia
- Compare spectacles, contact lenses and newer options
- Understand progressive lenses, photochromics and UV protection
- Know how common eye complaints are managed — and when referral matters
- Explore smart eyewear, AI-assisted diagnosis and what is genuinely new
The webinar will last approximately 90 minutes.
- 5-10 minute introduction
- 40-minute presentation
- 10-minute break
- up to 30 mins of Q&A
