This webinar recording is for anyone who
- Has, or suspects they have, chronic inflammation or a condition affected by chronic inflammation.
- Wants to understand the Cell Danger Response and the healing cycle.
What will you learn?
Dr. Eric Gordon gave an eloquent talk about the nuances of the Cell Danger Response (CDR) model and how to use it to inform treatment of ME and long COVID. He explains
- Most people can get somewhat better—so keep trying things until you find the right combination of strategies for you.
- All chronic illnesses involve inflammation, and all inflammation involves the CDR in some cells of some organs. The body is a mosaic in this regard.
- Healing requires finding a balance between stressing the body enough to activate the innate healing cycle without overdoing it and causing a crash or relapse.
- Every person is an individual, and therefore, the path to healing will differ for each person. There is no magic bullet.
- Anxiety can develop as a result of severe illness but anxiety does not make you sick.
This recording is 1 hour, 27 minutes in length and includes answers to lots of great questions.
