You already know you “should” eat better.
That is not the problem.
The problem is that almost every piece of nutrition advice out there quietly assumes things you may not have: the energy to stand at the stove, the focus to follow a recipe, the budget for specialty foods and a body that lets you shop, chop and clean up afterward.
When ten minutes in the kitchen can cost you the rest of your afternoon, just cook more vegetables is not helpful. It is one more thing to feel guilty about.
So many of us end up eating whatever takes the least effort, skipping meals when the fatigue is bad, and quietly worrying that we are making our illness worse. The advice that is supposed to help can leave you feeling like you are failing at something that is supposed to be simple.
A genuinely healthy diet is far more flexible, and far more forgiving, than you have been led to believe.
You do not need to overhaul your life. You do not need to cook elaborate meals. And eating in a more anti-inflammatory way, the kind that may actually ease pain and fatigue, does not have to be complicated or expensive.
Often it comes down to a few small swaps and making sure you are getting enough of what your body needs, even on your hardest days.
In this webinar, you will learn
- How eating a more anti-inflammatory diet does not have to be complicated or expensive.
- That making sure you are getting in enough food/protein/fluids/salt is really important for supporting your chronic illness
- The practical tips for eating a healthy diet while disabled.
This webinar is for anyone who
- Has a chronic illness or another energy-limiting condition
- Finds standard nutrition advice feels impossible to apply on a hard day
- Worries you are not eating enough, or not eating well enough, but do not have the energy to fix it
- is a family member, partner, or caregiver who helps with food, shopping, or meal prep
The webinar will last approximately 90 minutes.
- 5-10 minute introduction
- 40-minute presentation
- 10-minute break
- up to 30 mins of Q&A
