About the Presenters 

Theresa Dowell
Family Nurse Practitioner/
Physical Therapist

Theresa Dowell is a nationally recognized clinician, researcher, and speaker in the field of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and long COVID. 

She is a member of the US ME/CFS Clinician Coalition which is made up of expert clinicians in the field of ME/CFS and has co-authored numerous papers and opinion statements on ME/CFS, including consensus recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of ME/CFS. She currently sits on the board of directors for the International Association of ME/CFS and is the medical director of the Workwell Foundation. 

Theresa received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Duke University and a Master's of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. She owns a private practice in Flagstaff, Arizona dedicated to the treatment of ME/CFS, Long COVID, and Fibromyalgia.

Dr. Eleanor Stein, MD

Dr. Stein is a physician, psychiatrist, and an expert in helping people with ME, CFS, FM, environmental sensitivities, long COVID and chronic pain recover their health and joy in life.

Through her own 35-year illness journey, reading thousands of scientific papers and working with thousands of patients, she has developed a unique, science-based approach to self-management Pathways to Improvement. This course teaches core strategies to rewire the brain for more comfort and better function.
