In each of these presentations, Dr. Stein features a guest presenter who is an expert in their field of study. Each live session includes a 40 minute presentation the guest speaker followed by a Q&A session with the attendees.

- Harvard professor, Dr. Anthony Komaroff was one of the first to recognize that the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic would lead to a surge of ME-like chronic disease. He has been at the forefront of reviewing the long COVID literature to identify what is happening at the cellular and organ level in people with long COVID. The findings for long COVID are so similar to ME that we can see that post-infection syndromes share a lot in common.

Dr. Stein is a psychiatrist and sought-after educator. Her 30+ years of experience with these “alphabet” illnesses as a patient, physician and researcher gives her unique insight into managing these complex conditions. She is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Calgary and actively involved in ME research.
